I heard from my friend TC who took up yesterdays challenge," Make art today! It's been several days and it is important for my mind and spirit to do it. Thanks! This was a great way to start the day." Thanks is yours TC. I was elated. In my mind I was imagining you creating art 15,797 km away from me, triggered from my humble post.
I was reading a post on Facebook by Dr. Wayne Dyer. He writes, "
One of my secrets for feeling successful and attracting bountiful abundance into my life has been an internal axiom that I use virtually every day of my life. It goes like this: Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at change. This has always worked for me."
I found this quote interesting. We are all disposed to have certain ways to look at our day. Lets agree that most people react from habit, the way you did it yesterday and the day before. Ad infinitum. Everything changes and nothing stands still is a universal truth, but one that can be difficult to grasp. If you don't like the situation, you can train your mind to react to whatever the situation is in a new way. Right? This can be a challenge though. I guess, it's breaking the way, we have trained our mind to react in the past that we need to change.
Today's quote:
Discuss how you feel about this or Wayne Dyers quote in the comments section. (Located at top of post or bottom of post)
ugliness is created.
When people see things as good,
evil is created.
Being and non-being produce each other.
Difficult and easy complement each other.
Long and short define each other.
High and low oppose each other.
Fore and aft follow each other.
Our challenge today:
As you traverse the day, watch your feelings? The very first time you notice yourself getting mad, sad, disappointed, defeated during the day. Talk to yourself differently. Change the message your mind is sending to you brain and body. Try on one occasion. Come back tomorrow and tell us what happened and how you feel. I'll let you know what I did to change my thoughts too.
I'd love your participation. Go to top of any post and click where it says comments or below each post. You can remain anonymous if you wish. All comments have to be approved prior to publication.
