Today's Topic:
1. The doubting thomas feeling is self sabotage and I shall be better equipped to handle it next time.
2. Re-reading an old book you haven't read in eons can enlighten you once again. Yes, I picked up Robert McCammmon's Swan Song. It's got some treasure lines in it. Although it's not the greatest of subject matter, there are some wonderfully rich characters within the plot. It also revealed how the mind can play tricks, I always thought that the line, Take one step to get you to where you are going was a line from, The Stand by Stephen King, nope it's from this book. I had held that belief for a very long time.
3. Taxi drivers have the most interesting stories. The one we used could have written a book about his life in Syria. Ever curious me kept asking questions, and he was willing to tell more. Alas it was a short drive.
4. I worry too much. Lol. A friend of ours kept telling me that on Saturday night. I think I should heed the advice.
5. I do not like when the neighbour uses an incessant drill on a Sunday morning before 9am. I was so in a dream state and was rudely woken up. I tried to block it out for a good half and hour, but to no avail. I blurted out at the top of my voice, I'll going to drill that into the side of your head if you don't stop. He or she couldn't hear me but irritated I was. That's not very zen like of me now is it? I got up, albeit in a zombied state. Said drill stopped. Of course!
6. Learning the s, 's and s' grammatical rule is not as easy to comprehend after a five minute visit to a few grammar sites on my phone while waiting for food to cook at the stove top.
7. Coffee and me aren't friends. I don't know what I keep insisting on drinking a cup every now and again. It's not like it's changed any. LOL
9. I won't be letting an argument stew for longer than is necessary, if at all and will forgive and move on.
10. Getting off the internet/phone is good, but I want to go the whole 24 hours next week and set a new goal of doing this once a week.
