Reflections on Yesterdays Challenge:
How'd you go with yesterday's challenge: Unplug? Ok I have to admit I haven't undertaken the challenge yet, but have set the date for this Saturday 21st February from the time I get up until the next morning. You may see some posts on my FB pages 365allaboutu, Socialorical and Eat Simply Now that's because the posts are pre-scheduled, sometimes days in advance. I'll let you know how I go. Mmmm should be interesting not to carry a mobile device around with me, watch tv but should be a telling exercise in how much I'm plugged into these devices. Are you going to give it a go?
Today's Topic:
To be honest, I started writing this blog today but was not satisfied with what I wrote so scrapped it all. I had to write something so I thought I'd take a trip back to my first 5 blogs and reflect briefly on where I'm at.
1. Mind Body Spirit:
1. Mind Body Spirit:
In this blog I challenged myself to get up at 7am every morning and go to bed at 10pm every night. Well, I haven't been strict with myself in this regard and no most nights I'm going to be well past 10pm and getting up about 8am. So I could do better and this is something I need to work on. What did you challenge yourself to do?
2. Change your mind
2. Change your mind
I have most certainly been watching my feelings and becoming more aware of my self talk. I've also been practicing speaking positive to myself and catching myself out when I proceed to think or talk negative to myself and others. I'm a work in progress, but this is one area that I'm definitely improving on.
3. I am Powerful
3. I am Powerful
Mmmm random acts of kindness. Yes, I openly look for opportunities to undertake random acts of kindness in my day. Do you?
4. Live with Intention
4. Live with Intention
I have my intention chart taped to my cupboard beside the bed. I read it nearly every morning. I look at ways to embrace my intentions for 2015 and finding ways to better who I am every single day.
5. Do Nothing
5. Do Nothing
I love this challenge. I often go to the webpage Do Nothing for Two Minutes and just sit in there listening the sound of waves. I haven't undertaken much meditation recently and this two minutes is glorious. Did you give it a go?
