How'd you go with yesterday's challenge, Today is Special? I actually got a garbage bag out and went through my closet, collecting all the clothes I hadn't worn in eons. I'll be making a trip to the thrift store in the next couple of days. Next step the book shelf. As I'm winding my way through the day, I'm asking myself do I need that, have I used it, do I want it anymore? A few stray plastic items in the cutlery draw made their way to the bin. I'm looking critically at what's superfluous to my needs and out they're going to go. As for the special occasions things, I've dragged the champagne glasses to the front of the cupboard and am determined to use them this weekend. The pantry got a once over too. How'd you go?
Today's Topic
Laughter is infectious. We all love to hear the sound of a baby cacking away with such abandon that it make us laugh too. I find that when other people laugh I tend to laugh, if it's funny obviously. Have you laughed today? Do you know any good jokes? What about laughing at yourself, can you do it? Thinking on it, the hardest I've laughed so far today was when the cat donked her head on the ground when she went to roll on her back. She even looked perplexed which made me laugh harder. It's also great for stress relief and relaxation and well make you feel good. That's better than feeling the opposite right? So you may have had a bad day, not feeling so good? Time to make space in your life for laughter, have a good cack, a blurt and maybe a rollicking giggle fest. Did you know a further advantages of laughter according to WebMD is " One piece of chocolate has about 50 calories; at the rate of 50 calories per hour, losing one pound (0.453592 kg) would require about 12 hours of concentrated laughter!" Yep you get a workout. Right on!
Our Challenge Today:
